Contibutions are welcome!

Please feel free to send us anything that you think may be of interest to fellow plot holders. This is a communal site so if there is anything that you would like to see on these pages then send them to me at here
You can send in pics, recipes, ideas for articles, useful links or anything else you would like to see here. It would be great if we could get a history of Barriedale together so if you have been around for a while please contact me.
You can even sign up for our RSS feed so you can get notifications of new posts. If you don't know what an RSS Feed is you can find out here.

Site Day and Barriedale in the snow.

The first site day of the year will be May the 10th. Everyone is expected to give an hour of their time and there are various jobs that will need doing. We have plenty of scaffold boards and poles to do some shoring up but we can work in shifts as it's hard going. There are plenty of other tasks for those not able to wield the sledge hammers! We aim to get started at 10am and hopefully we will finish around mid afternoon. There will be a few refreshments available on the day!
We will have another site day towards the end of Autumn so those that can't attend on May 10th can come along to that one.

Hands up who was down the plot in the snow a couple of weekends back. I got down there at 11 ish and there were plenty of footprints in the snow. The plots looked great with winter onions and broad beans poking through the snow. Mike and Oliver sent some pics in and I have put them up with some of mine in the slide show below.
